For all our enthusiasm and verbosity about folk instruments, Folc Harp is a very small shop. So
we must needs conduct business perhaps not in the usual fashion for a luthier. We don't want
to be in a hurry to build harps and still we don't want to keep you waiting if you want one. So
we do not accept advanced payment nor deposits. All the harps that are ready to ship but are
not promised to anyone are listed in the Available Harps page. Once you are satisfied that one of
the harps is for you, we can ship it immediately.
If you would like a harp made of a certain type of wood or with some minor modifications, we
will put you on our list and tell you when we will begin building the harp. We will update you as
it is built and kept up to tune for a few weeks to make sure there are no problems. When the
harp is ready, we will contact you and arrange for payment. If at that time you decline to
purchase the harp, it will be put on the Available Harps page and sold from there with no loss
nor bother to either of us.
You may return a harp within 30 days for a full refund minus the shipping. The shipping can
